Beacon

Beacon is Renprofile's embeddable chat widget. It connects your website visitors to Rian and your support team in real time.

Connect

Go to Integrations > Channels and click Connect Beacon. This opens the Beacon setup drawer where you'll find your Workspace ID and installation instructions.

Manage

Once connected, go to Settings > Channels > Beacon to access four sub-tabs:

Install: choose your technology (Snippet, React, Angular, Vue, Shopify, Webflow, Framer); select user type (Targeted Users or Anonymous Visitors); copy the installation and initialisation snippets. An Install with AI button generates a prompt you can paste into Cursor or Copilot.

Customisation: set the launcher colour (four presets or any custom hex via a colour picker); choose Light or Dark panel theme. Changes are saved per-workspace and apply immediately.

Status badges

Status	Meaning
Connected	Channel is active and receiving messages
Pending	Setup in progress
Error	Connection failed; reconnect required

Disconnect

Go to Settings > Channels > Beacon, scroll to the bottom, and click Disconnect. Existing conversations are preserved; no new messages will be received.
