Connect Email
Connect an email account to Renprofile via IMAP and SMTP.
Steps
- Go to Integrations > Channels
- Click Connect Email
- The Email setup drawer opens
- Enter your email address and password
- Click Connect Email
Auto-configuration
When you type your email address, Renprofile detects the provider and fills in the IMAP and SMTP settings automatically. Supported providers:

When auto-filled, the server fields are locked and a blue banner confirms the settings were auto-configured.
Custom domain
If your email is on a custom domain (e.g. support@yourcompany.com), the server fields remain editable. Enter your IMAP and SMTP details manually:

Gmail: use an App Password
If you have 2-Step Verification enabled on your Google account, you cannot use your regular password. Generate an App Password:
- Go to your Google Account > Security > App Passwords
- Select Mail and your device
- Copy the generated 16-character password
- Use this as the password in the Renprofile email setup form
After connecting
Inbound emails become conversations in your inbox. Replies you send from Renprofile are delivered as emails from your address.
