Setup Workspace
Create and configure your Renprofile workspace.
Onboarding
When you sign up, Renprofile walks you through a short setup flow before you reach the dashboard.
Step 1: Workspace name
Enter a name for your workspace (up to 65 characters). This is what your team will see in the sidebar and notifications. You can change it later from Settings.
Step 2: Company size
Select your team size:
| Option | Range |
|---|---|
| Small | 1–15 |
| Growing | 16–49 |
| Mid-size | 50–199 |
| Scale-up | 200–1,999 |
| Enterprise | 2,000–4,999 |
| Large | 5,000+ |
Step 3: Invite your team
Add teammates by email and assign a role before you continue. This is optional; you can skip and invite later from Settings.
After onboarding, Renprofile takes you through AI agent setup and knowledge base ingestion before landing you in the workspace.
Workspace settings
Once you're in the dashboard, go to Settings > Workspace to manage three areas.
Manage
Core workspace configuration:
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Workspace Name | Up to 65 characters; shown in the sidebar and notifications. |
| Workspace ID | Read-only unique identifier; copy it for use with the API or Beacon script. |
| Workspace Icon | Upload an image or pick an emoji; shown in the sidebar. |
Danger zone
| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
| Delete Workspace | Permanently deletes the workspace and all associated data; cannot be undone. |
| Archive Workspace | Hides the workspace from your sidebar without deleting data. |
Only workspace owners can perform danger zone actions.
Assignments
Controls how conversations are routed and when your team is considered available.
Default assignee: select a team member to automatically receive all new unassigned conversations. Leave blank to keep conversations unassigned until manually routed.
Self-assign on reply: when enabled, replying to an unassigned conversation automatically assigns it to you. Two modes:
- Keep Unassigned: conversation stays unassigned after you reply
- Assign to me: conversation is assigned to you when you reply
Timezone: sets the reference timezone for work hours and scheduling. Available options:
| Timezone | Label |
|---|---|
| UTC | UTC |
| America/New_York | Eastern Time (ET) |
| America/Chicago | Central Time (CT) |
| America/Denver | Mountain Time (MT) |
| America/Los_Angeles | Pacific Time (PT) |
| Europe/London | London (GMT) |
| Europe/Paris | Paris (CET) |
| Asia/Dubai | Dubai (GST) |
| Africa/Lagos | West Africa Time (WAT) |
| Asia/Kolkata | India (IST) |
| Asia/Tokyo | Tokyo (JST) |
| Australia/Sydney | Sydney (AEST) |
Work days: toggle individual days on or off; defaults to Monday through Friday.
Work hours: set a from/to hour range (e.g. 09:00 to 17:00). Renprofile calculates the total hours per day. Outside these hours, customers see your offline message.
People
People is currently in development.
The People section will be the central place to manage team member permissions, special access levels, and workspace-level capabilities beyond the standard role system. For now, team management is handled from the Assignment settings and the invite flow.
